Soil contamination is the presence of chemical compounds made by man or other alteration to the natural soil environment.This contamination generally appears to result in breakage of underground storage tanks, application of pesticides, leaks from landfills or direct accumulation of industrial products.The
dreadful common chemicals including petroleum products, solvents, pesticides and other heavy metals. This phenomenon is closely related to the degree of industrialization and intensity of chemical use.Regarding soil contamination risk was primarily health, directly and in contact with potable water sources. The delineation of contaminated areas and the resulting cleanup tasks that are time and money consuming, requiring extensive skills in geology, hydrography, chemistry and computer models.
